Accommodation at Anchor Cottage
Anchor Cottage is a large semi-detached house in Angle Village, Pembrokeshire, and has accommodation for up to 8 guests, plus a baby, and parking for 2-3 vehicles on a private driveway. The house was fully renovated in 2014, and has a fresh, modern décor with a seaside and country theme.
The friendly Hibernia Inn village pub and restaurant is within 200 yards of the cottage, and is family and dog-friendly, and the Globe Hotel just across the street serves meals to non-residents. There is also the excellent Wavecrest licenced beach café at West Angle Beach (limited opening hours out of season) serving great coffee, lunches and afternoon teas as well as a take-out service for ice-cream, snacks and beach equipment.
Good news for 2022 is that the Old Point Inn at East Angle Bay is re-opening under the management of the Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company, who you may know from their award winning Cafe Mor at Freshwater West. Keep an eye on their website for the opening date, they are aiming for May but it is not yet finalised.
Dogs are very welcome to stay free of charge, but please be aware that sheep are kept in the field behind the garden - for most dogs this is not a problem, but best to be aware in case it might be an issue for your pet (see pictures of the garden below).

Quiet and unspoilt, Angle Village is located on the Angle peninsula in South West Pembrokeshire. The Coastal Path runs right around the village, making it a popular stopping point for walkers. Pretty East Angle Bay has many fishing and leisure craft moored (also a fabulous spot for bird watching, and for crabbing) and is at one end of the village, while West Angle Beach is at the other. The beach is sandy and gently sloping, making it perfect for young children, plenty of rock pools to explore too, particularly at low tide, and there are good sheltered areas to one side, useful on a windy day! The licenced Wavecrest Cafe is located at the beach carpark, and has super sea views and a takeaway kiosk serving ice-cream and snacks. The Hibernia Inn is a traditional village pub with a restaurant and is dog-friendly. The Globe Hotel is licenced and serves meals to non-residents.
